Hello, it's Chromattix writing here:
It's been a long time since this blog has been updated. Normally this sort of stuff is saved for important updates and issues having to do with either the group or Vue itself and is handled by nukeation But he and most other admins have not shown much activity lately so I'm taking the wheel for this time.
Anyway, if you are a Vue user or use other 3D software too and like creating Fantasy-themed artwork, then The3DArtistClub is hosting a contest that may interest you! It offers neat prizes like a Full software License for Topogun, and 2500 DA points to be won. With solid prizes like that, and Vue's advantage of bringing fantasy art to life with natural elements and beautiful atmospheres that trump much of what you see in other software, well you may just have a leg up on the competition already if you can also find or make some fitting models for the theme, or even just a Fantasy landscape could suffice
More information can be found here: the3dartistclub.deviantart.com…
Deadline is: 22nd of July, plenty of time, best get started early if your a long-renderer too
Any 3d software package is allowed to be use, even some postwork too provided the artwork is at least 50% "raw" 3D work. Good luck!
